WELCOME TO THE NELSON SUBURBAN CLUB
Centrally located in Tahunanui Drive, one of the two main roads between Nelson and Richmond, the Nelson Suburban Club is a sports and social club, catering for a wide cross section of the community.
The overall design of the club is based on similar clubs across the Tasman and is one of the most modern clubs in New Zealand. The spacious members bar boasts seating for over 200, with plasma televisions and a large projector screen to ensure that sports viewing needs of members are provided for.
The self service TAB machine is a service feature for members, as is a wonderful pool playing area to cater for younger and older members alike.
Club Café is a recent addition to the Nelson Suburban Club and has proved popular with patrons. Open 7 days a week for evening meals and snacks, the blackboard menu compliments the Buffet "Tosswill's Restaurant & Bar" which is open from 5.30pm to 8pm on Tuesday - Sunday nights.
The Carnival Room for those who enjoy playing the gaming machines, features a colourful "Mardi Gras in Rio" theme. Neon lights, photographic wall panels and over 5,000 laser lights in the ceiling create a fun atmosphere for the recreation player in the modern non-casino gaming room in New Zealand.
