Nelson Suburban Club

Welcome to The Nelson Suburban Club & Entertainment Centre. Our facility offers you an ideal venue for any occasion being corporate conferences, expos, meetings, weddings, club events, socials, private functions etc. With three superior quality rooms available for hire, we provide flexible room layouts with the option of catering, all at competitive rates.

Our multi purpose facility can cater for large and small group functions from 10 - 250+ people. Hireage of facilities include staging, lighting and sound system.

Sandcastles Restaurant on site, caters for all occasions, offering extremely good value at good prices. Light snacks, morning & afternoon teas, good value dinners and smorgasbords all at Sandcastles Restaurant.

ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE :

Ken Ching Room:
This newly renovated room is suitable for private functions, corporate groups, conferences etc. This room has full bar facility and can open up into Sandcastles Restaurant for larger parties. Hireage of portable stage, microphone, and projector available. Laptop capability.

Table Seating: 80people Theatre Style Seating:  100people

Boardroom:
The Boardroom contains tables designed in a circular sequence. (Tables can be rearranged to suit).  Hirage of microphone, and sound projector available. Laptop capability. 

Seats 20 people.

 Sports Hall:
This is a large room with full bar facilities, a large dance floor and staging. Hirage of microphone, and  projector available. Laptop capability

Conditions of Venue Hire

• Payment shall be made prior to function hire unless prior arrangement with management. 
• Hirers shall pay for additional equipment hired by the club for the venue hire.
• Hirers shall pay for breakages and damage caused during hire. 
• Hirers shall pay for costs of cleaning the venue, if it is left in an unreasonable state.
• The patron is responsible to conduct the function in an orderly manner and in full compliance with the rules and regulations etc. We reserve the right to intervene if a functions activates are considered illegal, noisy or offensive. 
• The club reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any guests it considers to be under the age or intoxicated or behaving in an offensive manner
   
  Decoration: 
  Rooms are available for decoration on the day of your function, in case of larger functions setup maybe done the night before with prior arrangement.
   
  Entertainment: 
  This can be sourced by yourselves - Bands, Performers, DJ’s and Jukeboxes etc.
