Alan Kirby, Dealer Principal at MS Ford shares his top tips to prepare your vehicle for winter.
- Tyres - Check your tyre tread depth and tyre pressure
- Lights - Visually inspect all lights; rear lights, brake lights, headlights and driving lights. Alas, daylight savings means you’re going to need these more often.
- Car Battery - Have your battery checked for optimum performance. Cold weather can be harder on batteries.
- Screen Wash and Wipers – Being able to see clearly through winter windows is key to your safety. Keep your screen wash topped up, and include some anti-freeze in the mix. Check that your wiper blades are in top condition too.
