Sunday saw a whole new experience for many years in the club as Bathurst was screened live on the big screen.
Opening the doors at 10 am to a Bathurst Brunch, I was met with two waiting to come in for their $10 brunch. Over 50 people arrived with some staying to the great conclusion. A Ford win.
One gentleman travelling over an hour from his farm with his son to spend the day. Sadly with the red flag given and a major delay, they had to leave prior to the race finishing but stating, “We will be back next year. Awesome day and many thanks”.
A special thank you to Nelson Bays Holden for the loan of the latest SS-V Redline to have on display and my thrill in driving it home for the evening. Also to MS Ford who sadly sold their V8 Falcon and never got another in time for us to display but MS Ford kindly donated some awesome gear as giveaways.
So we say farewell to one race track and look forward to a different one with the upcoming "Bubbles and Bling" that is Melbourne Cup. Some great things planned for the day. Free glass of bubbly to greet you on arrival.
There will be prizes for:

- Best dressed male
- Best dressed couple
- Best decorated hat
- Along with some yummy Champagne Punch and a few other treats in store.
