Hi Everyone
First and foremost I wish to publicly thank Jim Reeves, our outgoing president, for the wonderful job he did for us in the last 12 months. He has rather large shoes for me to fill.
Our new executive committee is comprised of a great bunch of individuals with some fabulous ideas for the year to come. This doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear your ideas because we do! We welcome any suggestions to help our club, especially for fundraising.
The new committee members don’t have badges yet – all things take time – but can be identified by the pictures that are still posted on the orange Club Café wall. Please feel free to approach any of us with your thoughts.
It is also important to remember all our fantastic volunteers who help us out. There are a lot of them who do not serve on our committees but who have the Nelson Suburban Club at heart and do so much behind the scenes. If you would like to help out in any way please make contact with any one of us – you will be gladly received.
