Hi Everyone
Only a few days to go before Christmas; and for many of you a well-deserved break. Although the rain is very welcome right now I hope the weather improves and your Christmas day is a traditional Kiwi affair filled with lots of sun and fun with family & friends around you all. If you’re stuck for a gift idea for someone; don’t forget we have Club gift vouchers available. They make a great gift as they can be used for anything available at the Club including membership. For those of you who booked into Tosswills for Christmas Lunch - thank you for supporting your Club, I’m sure you will have a delicious meal.
There are still tickets available for the Christmas raffle which we will draw once it is full. I hope we can get them all sold before Christmas!
Pick up and Drop off Service
Now the lower alcohol limits have come into effect we have increased the Pick up and Drop off service for your convenience. Our van now operates on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday’s from 4pm. Please use this service if you haven’t arranged a sober driver and you want to enjoy a few more drinks than is allowed. This will take the worry out of driving and allow you to have a great night out. To make a booking all you need to do is ring the Club 03-548-6815 or see the Bar staff.
New Year’s Eve is always a busy night at the Club and despite the lower driving limits we hope you manage to get down to the Club and enjoy the night. Why not use the van service? We have a $22 buffet dinner followed by a masked party in the Sports Hall with new band ‘Off Shoot’ and in the Main Bar ‘All Soundz’ will entertain you.
Over the holiday period the Club hosts a large number of visitors, many of them come from other Clubs throughout the country and further afield. Please give them a very warm welcome and show them that we are a very hospitable Club.
Check out our hours of trade on our website, we are open every day and from Monday 22nd December 2014 through until the end of January the Café will be open for Dinner on a Monday evening.
