Hello Members
As Nelson’s beautiful weather continues, it is lovely to see our Club being used by so many people. The outdoor area is looking great with the refurbished leaners. Many thanks to Bob Finlayson for the wonderful job he did on these and to the Garden section for their wonderful contribution also.
Coming up on Saturday 7th March is a Charity function to celebrate International Women’s Day. This will take the form of a High Tea, with some very interesting guest speakers and a charity auction.
The entry price is very reasonable at only $5 per head and all proceeds go to our 3 chosen charities.

- Nelson Women’s Centre
The tickets are available to the general public both from the Club and online at Eventbrite and we would dearly love to see a good turn out from our members. The Women’s movement has been very important over the years, giving women the right to vote, to equal pay for equal work, to be members (and even President!) of our Club. So a call-out to all our female members – celebrate the fact that you are able to be members and come and support our charity tea. I would love to see you.
